March Favourites

Another month has come and gone. We’re already 1/4 through 2015! I can’t believe it. This month, as I said last week, I’ve been keeping it pretty simple in the beauty department, but there are a few gems that I’d like to share with you today.

Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo. I’ve been using this for a few months now, but forget to mention it. I use this about once a week, or sometimes every other week, usually when I’m on to third day hair caked with dry shampoo and other products. This leaves my hair feeling clean, but does not dry it out. I’m not sure that I’ll ever try another clarifying shampoo again. Why mess with perfection?

Essie Nail Polish in Minimalistic. This shade is just amazing. I talked about it this already in my Spring Nails post, so I won’t go on about it. I have worn this twice already this month. That might not seem like a lot, but for me it is. I don’t generally wear the same colour twice, so the fact that I did with this one means it’s a winner.

Batiste Dry Shampoo (Tropical scent). I’ve been hearing about this dry shampoo for ages, but didn’t think it was sold in Canada, so I figured I would have to wait for a trip to the States to try it out. Then one day while at Walmart getting other things, I found it on the shelf, so of course I had to buy it (I also spotted it at Superstore the other day)! I was not expecting much to honest, so when I was able to wear third day hair to church which I have never been able to do before. This is one of the first dry shampoos that actually makes my hair look cleaner, which I love. It does have a slight white cast but goes away with just a bit of rubbing in. I’m looking forward to trying out some of the other fragrances once this one runs out!

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake. I’ve raved on and on about this, I will just leave you with this: I will wear this shade for as long as it is available! I’m pretty sure this will be the first lipstick I ever finish.

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Perfume. This is another one of those products I’ve used for a while but have forgotten to mention. This is so different from my usual scents, which is maybe why I love it so much. I love putting this on midday or at night before going out (on those rare occasions when that happens). It is a muskier type of scent, with hints of sandalwood, violet and vanilla. I think it’s the vanilla that really sells it for me.

What are your favourites this month? I’d love to hear about them!
