Sephora Cream Lip Stains

When it comes to brighter colours (especially reds), I like them to be long-lasting. I don’t like having to baby my lips when I’m going for a bolder look or feeling like it’s come off or all over my face by the end of the day. For those reasons, I love the Sephora Cream Lip Stains. I’ve already talked a bit about the colour Strawberry Kiss (here), and loved it so much that I wanted another one. I really want to try Always Red, but it’s always out of stock when I go to the store, so I grabbed Whipped Blush instead.
For our two Easter dinners last week (perks having both our families in town) I decided to put these two to the test. After all the delicious food, both colours were still going strong as if I had just applied them. Though they are both very long-lasting, they are slightly different from one another. IMGP6917-1Whipped Blush, a fuchsia pink is basically bright enough to see from space, which is why I love it so much. It applies really easily, but because it is bright rather than dark, it will show any dryness on my lips, so I have to make sure I exfoliate and use a lip balm before. IMGP6923-1Strawberry Kiss is a more universally wearable shade. It’s the perfect red for spring because it is bright with the slightest hint of pink. I do find that it is harder to apply, so a lip liner is definitely helpful, however because it is darker than Whipped Blush, it doesn’t magnify my dry lips.
Both colours will definitely last throughout the day, and I find the easiest way to remove them is to use my favourite oil-in-gel lipstick remover followed by sugar lip scrub or other lip exfoliant.

Have you tried any of the cream lip stains? What is your favourite long lasting lip colour?
