Three Years of Marriage

beloverlywedding2

beloverlywedding8On this day, three short years ago, my sweet husband, Christopher and I were married. It really was the best day of my life so far. We were married in the Cardston Temple, and although we were in Southern Alberta, there was hardly any wind that day (unheard of, I know)! There was a lot of sunshine though! I’m pretty sure it was at least 24° or maybe it was 28°… either way, with few clouds and no wind, it was a warm day. Even if it had snowed, or rained, or hailed, I would still have been so happy. Happy because my new life was starting. My new life with my best friend.

And those are just a small handful of our challenges. There are times where our little home seems extremely small, and others when I can’t get enough of him. Despite the hard times, we are focused on having a good and successful marriage. Although it can be really difficult, we try to remember that this is a small part of eternity, and that the joys will always outweigh the sorrows — and even if they didn’t, we’re stronger when we’re together.

Be sure to come back tomorrow and all week for wedding inspired posts!
