September Playlist

With the last few days of September upon us, it’s time to share some of my favourite songs from the month. I’ve continued my Bee Gees obsession (it’s the only thing that will help me clean the bathroom when I don’t want to) and “To Love Somebody” is my current go-to. I’ve discovered some new favourites, like Brett Eldredge’s “Illinois”, and rediscovered old favourites like “Panic” from The Smiths (perfect reading music). There are the songs I play when I’m getting ready in the mornings, like “Tighten Up” from The Black Keys and “Let Me In” by Hot Hot Heat. Then there are songs perfect for anytime of the day, like “Go Outside” from Cults or Perry Como’s “Magic Moments”, or “Eyes” from Rogue Wave (which you might recognize from this). And finally there are songs too pretty not to love, that will certainly make your heart ache a little, like “April Come She Will” from Simon & Garfunkel and Disturbed’s cover of “The Sound of Silence”, which is hauntingly beautiful and so different from I expected.septemberplaylist
