Happy Saturday! Fall is still treating us well here in Calgary, and I’m extra happy today because we are having Thanksgiving dinner with my family (we had Thanksgiving dinner with Christopher’s family on Monday), which we postponed because of work schedules, other dinners and since one of my uncles and his family are in town from Utah. I love spending time with our families, and I am always up for an excuse to eat pumpkin pie. I thought I would be having some snuggles with my newest niece or nephew this weekend as well, but we’ve learned once again that babies come when they’re ready, not when you are. Hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer!

This week wasn’t too busy or eventful, so there’s not much to recap. Though I did find another perfect red lipstick, which I have already worn three times so far this week. And I made my mom’s famous buns for the first time (with a lot of her help), which I think might have made Christopher fall in love with me even more (the key to man’s heart is through his stomach, right?). I also went to see The Intern with my brother and sister-in-law and really enjoyed it. Nancy Meyers knows what she’s doing.
