A Month in Outfits | December 2016

Even though I decided not to do a playlist or beauty favourites for December (though I will be posting about the products I’ve been loving for the last several months later this week), I can’t move on with the year without talking about some of my favourite looks from the month.

Sweater, Old Navy (similar here) // Top, H&M // Skirt, H&M (similar here) // Tights, Joe Fresh (similar here) // Lipstick, Bite Beauty // Nail Polish, Essie

Dress, Shade (similar here) // Skirt Extender, DownEast // Boots, Call it Spring (similar here) // Scarf, ALDO // Bag, ALDO (similar here) // Lipstick, Rimmel

Top, Forever 21 (similar here) // Skirt, Rosegal (similar here) // Boots, Call it Spring (similar here) // Lipgloss, Clarins

Top, H&M // Jeans, Joe Fresh (similar here) // Boots, ALDO (similar here) // Lipstick, Rimmel // Nail Polish, Formula X // Necklace, Old Navy (similar here)

In December I really fell hard and fast for black and white pieces. I didn’t realize how much of my winter wardrobe (and really all of my wardrobe) is monochrome until I was putting this post together. I love being able to make makeup choices without thinking about whether or not it will go with my top, so black and white (and grey, which I didn’t get any pictures of) are perfect for me. I will also never tire of boots, whether they be ankle or knee-high. As a girl who hates wearing socks when it’s not -10, it’s actually surprising that I love shoes that cover my feet (and sometimes legs) so completely. It’s probably because I can just pull them on and not have to fuss with laces (I might hate laces more than socks).

Which look is your favourite? Are you drawn to a certain colour palette this season?
